In 2017, Mohamed Fares founded Tharawat Investments, a boutique investment & Asset Management firm focused on food manufacturing and financial services. Under his astute guidance, Tharawat has completed four successful transactions, investing in companies that are poised to shape the future of industries such as manufacturing, fintech, non-banking financial services, and FMCG supply chain technology.
In 2014, Mohamed Fares founded LEEDS, an electromechanical contractor and facility management provider. Under his visionary leadership, LEEDS experienced exponential growth by increasing the company's business size by twenty-fold and its headcount by 400% in just three years, catapulting it to the pinnacle of its industry.
Fares is a seasoned business leader with a proven track record of strategic success. During his tenure at Raya Group, he masterminded the merger of seven local IT companies, creating a conglomerate that has since become a leading industry player. He also diversified Raya's portfolio by establishing ten diverse lines of business across a wide range of sectors.

Ayman Hussein

and is a former Chairman of Al Watany Bank of Egypt. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for several energy companies including Sahara Oil & Gas and the Egyptian Chinese Drilling Company. An avid golfer and Chairman of the Egyptian Golf Federation, Mr. Hussein has also been instrumental in shaping the emerging golf industry in Egypt, in particular by developing junior participation in the sport. He is a graduate of Cairo University and holds a BSc in Engineering.

Omar El-Badry has made significant contributions to the business world, He transformed Sky Logistics from a 2 MUSD annual revenue company to the second market share bulk commodity stevedoring organization with an annual revenue of 30 MUSD in the period 2017 – 2022. This allowed the company to establish Sky Ports, which acquired the first private sector multi-purpose concession terminal in Egypt.
Omar contributed to establishing JOBMASTER consultancy services, where he helped develop new salary survey techniques and tools, advanced assessment center methodology, business process management model, competency modeling, and organization design model.
He introduced a totally new market approach to the mobile distribution market, which led to the acquisition of his company by RAYA Group, one of the telecom market leaders.
Omar obtained his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering, from Cairo University followed by a Project Management Diploma, from George Washington University and a Business Diploma, from ABB Academy as well as an MBA, from Maastricht School of Management.

Ahmed Hussein

One of the founders of the Sky Group of Companies, which was founded by the Hussein family in 1997.Ahmed Ayman Ahmed Fathi Hussein, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Leeds TFM and a member of the Board of Directors of several group companies inside and outside Egypt.
...Ahmed has over 10 years of international experience in corporate finance, strategy, growth equity and venture capital. Over the last 5 years, Ahmed has invested in over 30 global equities in addition to a number of venture-backed startups in Egypt and in the US.
Before assuming the role of Chairman at LEEDS TFM, Ahmed was with HOF Capital, a leading VC and growth equity firm in New York with over $1Bn in AUM. Ahmed’s primary responsibility involved deal screening and financial modelling for investment opportunities. Ahmed further contributed to HOF’s development of their venture-building studio for the MENA region.
After a short stint at Qalaa Holdings, the largest private equity firm in Africa with $9.5Bn in assets under management, Ahmed joined LEEDS where he focused on business development, building the solar energy department from the ground up. Ahmed later joined the real estate arm of his family business at Sky Investments, where his responsibilities included managing the overall development of a 75,000sqm, $80Mn commercial office park in West Cairo.
Ahmed founded and successfully exited his own startup, Mediterranean Tour, a golf developmental tour that provides world-class golf tournaments to aspiring European and local professionals and amateurs.
Ahmed holds a BSc in mechanical engineering with Honors from the American University in Cairo, having graduated in the top 10% of his class, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Ahmed is an ex-member of the Egyptian National Golf Team and 2004 winner of the Egyptian Junior Golf Championship.
